This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses, how it is processed, and how we keep it private.
1. Information We Collect
Void Focus does not collect, store, or send any personal data to our servers.
We do not use analytics tools, tracking scripts, or third-party data collectors.
The only information the app can access is what’s required for its core functionality:
1.1. Usage Access Permission
We use Android’s “Usage Access” permission to:
- detect which app is currently active
- measure screen time
- block selected apps during a focus session
- calculate accurate usage statistics
- support features like session reports and daily limits
This information never leaves your device.
It is processed locally and not transmitted to Void Studio or any third parties.
1.2. Accessibility Service (for App Blocking)
The accessibility permission is required to:
- identify when a blocked app is opened
- overlay the blocking screen
- maintain focus sessions
- prevent quick switching into distracting apps
We do not use accessibility data to read text, capture passwords, monitor content, or perform any action outside blocking apps.
1.3. Notifications Permission
We request notification permission only to:
- show focus session countdowns
- deliver reminders or alerts you have enabled
- keep the session running if you leave the app
No notification content is scanned, collected, or shared.
1.4. No Personal Account, No Cloud Sync
We do not require:
- account creation
- email or phone number
- cloud storage
- third-party logins
Everything is stored locally on your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
All data is used solely to make the app work as intended:
- enforcing focus sessions
- blocking selected apps
- generating on-device statistics
- saving preferences like themes, limits, and schedules
We do not use your data for:
- advertising
- profiling
- selling information
- behaviour tracking
- marketing or retargeting
Void Focus is a privacy-first tool by design.
3. What We Do Not Collect
To be clear, we never collect or access:
- your personal identity
- your contacts
- photos, videos, files, or media
- typed content
- passwords or sensitive information
- browsing history
- device ID or advertising ID
- location data
- background conversations
- biometrics
- Wi-Fi or Bluetooth data
We also do not store logs of the apps you open or the websites you visit.
4. Data Storage & Security
All information is stored locally on your device.
No cloud servers. No external databases. No third-party processors.
If you uninstall the app, all data is automatically deleted with it.
5. Third-Party Access
VOID Focus App does not share any data with:
- advertisers
- data brokers
- analytics platforms
- government agencies (unless legally required)
- third-party SDKs
We do not use Firebase, Google Analytics, or similar services for tracking.
6. Your Rights
Void Focus is not designed for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including minors.
7. Your Control
You can revoke permissions at any time from your device settings.
You can also reset session data, usage stats, or preferences at any time inside the app.
The app will continue working with the permissions you allow — nothing is forced unless required for core functionality.
8. Updates to This Policy
In case of any changes, we will update this page and the in-app notice.
We do not make silent changes that affect your rights.
